The Boathouse Chapel
The Boathouse Chapel is a coastal gem. This timber-framed chapel, seating up to 170, was transported from New England and carefully reassembled, beam-by-beam. Barn doors swing open for a breeze. Couples typically take their vows in front of the stone fireplace. The romantic Boathouse Chapel make a wonderful setting to say, “I Do.”

Whether you choose the Boathouse Chapel or an outdoor location, SCE Event Group provides state-of-the-art sound for your ceremony. And to elevate your music, consider a hybrid entertainment experience of an electric violin and DJ.
The Mansion
The Mansion is inspired by the historic coastal estates that dot the East Coast from Nantucket to Charleston. Bonnet Island Estate is a luxurious private island experience with unforgettable elegance and character. Be prepared to be wowed when you walk through the front door, where the broad porte-cochere entryway invites you into the elegant Main Hall. Its tranquil Parlor and sun-kissed Great Room flow into the spacious East Veranda.
SCE DJ Insight: Take advantage of the flow of the Main Hall and the East Veranda for cocktail hour. Your guests can enjoy intimate spaces to catch up or simply enjoy the waterfront views. SCE Event Group can set up your sound for multiple spaces.
The Ballroom
Inside Bonnet Island Estate’s impressive Ballroom, both your eyes and your photographer’s camera will love everything about this bright and airy space. There’s a majestic, 30-foot-high ceiling that emulates the inverted hull of a ship. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide expansive daytime light, as well as incredible bay views. The Bonnet Island Estate Ballroom comfortably hosts up to 250, so feel free to expand your guest list!
SCE DJ Insight: Bonnet Island Estate’s Ballroom offers the best of both worlds. The evening starts with the last rays of sunset coming through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Once it’s dark, it’s time to capture the room’s magic. With its soaring ceiling and windows, the Ballroom is a stunning canvas for intelligent lighting design.
The Views
Bonnet Island’s picturesque landscaping, architecture, and private waterfront offer plenty of amazing photo opportunities. The English Garden, with its colorful blooms and pretty gazebo, makes for romantic portraits. Or you can pose for a sweet “first look” on the dock, or maybe on the Veranda that overlooks the natural marshes on the property. The dock is also a fantastic location for bridal party and family group shots with a waterfront backdrop.
SCE DJ Insight: A beach-themed photo booth is the perfect complement to Bonnet Island’s waterfront setting. And it makes great guest entertainment.

Along with full-service catering, Bonnet Island Estate provide wedding party ready rooms with the Bridal Parlor and Groom’s Shack. And the estate has 12 private suites giving you a complete wedding weekend experience.
