Bear Brook Valley is a former golf course that has been transformed into an exclusive event venue, tucked in the rolling hills of Sussex NJ, yet still close to the Mile Square! And, a little fun fact, Sussex, NJ is considered New Jersey's greenest county, meaning lush green views everywhere you turn! The venue sits along an established vineyard and heart-shaped pond which is a perfect spot for al fresco ceremonies. The Ceremony Spaces

The wedding venue is surrounded by nature, so no matter what season you’re looking to celebrate your new lives together, you can be certain that Bear Brook’s natural beauty will provide stunning backdrops for your big day, as well as living on in all of your wedding pics! But, it’s not just Bear Brook’s natural beauty that makes it a one-of-a-kind venue. Bear Brook offers a perfect mix of indoor and outdoor event options, with ceremonies often being hosted pond-side, with a view of the pond and vineyard. But, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, or if you simply prefer to say your “I do’s” inside, We offer three picturesque indoor ceremony locations to exchange your vows: covered under the carport and cedar pavilion with views of the venues rollinghills; or inside their recently renovated barn-style stables building or inside our large, airy ballroom for larger indoor weddings. All of this combined means that Bear Brook Valley is a great year round wedding venue!
Entertain your Guests All Day!
The venue is located amongst gorgeous sprawling lawns and gardens, offering guests the chance to enjoy Bear Brook’s natural beauty by watching the sunset, lounging by the fire, or playing shuffleboard or corn hole on the lawn during cocktail hour. And, as an homage to the venue's former life as a golf course, there is still a 4-hole golf course on site, which would be perfect for the wedding party to enjoy before getting ready for the ceremony! And, taking everyone’s needs into account, Bear Brook also features a “quiet room” for children, elderly guests who may need to rest, or anyone else who needs to take a short break from celebrating! Lastly, and in our opinion, most importantly, the ballroom is complete with stunning hardwood floors for guests to dance the night away.
