FROM TEEN DJ TO WEDDING EXPERT.

Entering the event industry at 17, Eric started his career with a mobile entertainment company in New Jersey. His passion continued growing as he worked at Rutgers University and Montclair State college events. The journey of being a DJ and providing the soundtrack moved outside of the college circuit after graduation. DJ Eric Lane then worked at bars on the Jersey Shore, such as Hemingways, Tommy’s Tavern and Tap, Asbury Ale House, and Jax Garage, where he continued to work on his craft.

Playing in the local bar and club scene has allowed Eric to refine his DJ skills and learn the local culture. Using music as a tool to impact someone's experience is the foundation of what we do at SCE Event Group, and it can only be learned by spending time playing in real-life venues and events.

Joining a wedding-only event group at 23, he cemented himself as a polished wedding DJ and Event Host. With his expert ability to read the room and knowledge of all genres, he will surely provide a fantastic experience for any crowd. While a good DJ will play the music you want to hear, a great DJ will play the music you didn’t know you wanted to hear, precisely what you get with him. Eric’s favorite quote referring to how he feels about weddings is “Every wedding is the Super Bowl” by SCE’s very own Nick Spinelli.
