Jason Jani has been setting new standards in the private event industry for years, he is a multi-faceted artist, innovator, producer, remixer, visionary and professional DJ/VJ.
With over 16 years of experience and over 2000 total events (over 1000 weddings) under his belt, Jason has had the honor of helping thousands celebrate life. Born and raised in New Jersey, Jason started spinning records as a bedroom DJ in the 1990′s. Having a natural gift and passion for the craft, he then expanded into the nightclub arena and was rocking dance floors five nights a week in the New Jersey club circuit from Hoboken to Atlantic City. In 2000, Jason founded Sound Connection Entertainment – now known as the SCE Event Group, which provides customized planning and entertainment production for those in search of the industries finest offerings.
Jason’s love for the DJ entertainment industry, ability to play to any age crowd, gift of flawless music mixing ability, event hosting professionalism and polished MC skills have enabled Jason to be one of the most sought after private event professionals in the world.
Trusted by the most discerning clients, industry professionals, equipment manufacturers, and venues, Jani adds a dynamic dimension to the mobile entertainment industry that is matched by very few. He has worked with celebrity clients such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Akon, Ti, LL Cool J, Janet Jackson, celebrity event planner David Tutera, groups like Guns ‘n Roses and many fellow DJ industry professionals in the northeast.

Some of Jason’s career highlight accomplishments;
- In July 2011, Jason was awarded the “Flame of Inspiration” award by the exclusive organization comprised of some of the most recognized and respected Private event company owners in the United States known as the DJ Think Tank.
- In August 2010, Jason was selected by DJ Times Magazine to present the opening 90 minute seminar titled “The Brand of You” at the International DJ Times expo. Additionally, Jason was selected to be a featured panelist in a “All Star Wedding MC ” seminar, he was a feature DJ at the Taj Mahal’s Casbah nightclub for the Denon Opening Party, and was featured to play in the Denon DJ tradeshow booth as a featured artist.
- In August 2009, Jani was a featured panelist/presenter at the International DJ Times expo located in Atlantic City.
- He was rated in 2007, 2008 & 2009 by Deet Promotions and Promo Only as one of the Top 50 Mix Show DJs in the U.S. Also, placing 2nd in the 2008 Mixshow DJ of the Year award hosted by The Real Mixshow.
- Jason Jani and Jeffrey Balkin, created the remix production team, The Blend Brothers – August 2008. As of June 2011, the Blend Brothers have created over 1500 unique remixes.
- Jason’s nationally syndicated mixshow featured on over 50 radio stations including Sirius Radio (Area 38 and The Beat)
- Jason has been featured as the DJ of the Month by DJ Times international magazine (August 2008) titled “Jersey Jock Bust the Right Moves”, and has been selected a number of times in 2007, 2008, & 2009 for feedback and to participate in DJ Times related articles.
