On Sunday, February 14th – Valentines Day - Jason Jani and the NJ Wedding DJ team, Sound Connection Entertainment hosted an awesome celebration for Steven and Grace at Clarks Landing in Point Pleasant, NJ. The recently renovated and completely rebuilt Clarks Landing is an unbelievably stunning venue that boasts panoramic river views, warm yet welcoming decor, modern technology, a delicious menu and of course an accommodating staff – that will ensure you enjoy the experience . The venue has some very cool technology features that asset the entertainment presentation such as a self playing piano in the cocktail lounge, remote controlled doors (for bridal party entrances) and speakers that are installed in the ceilings over the dance-floor.

Steven and Grace were a fun couple in search of high energy DJ at their Valentines Day wedding celebration, and the SCE team designed the perfect compliment of entertainment! The evening began with a custom montage that was put together and played by SCE on the house plasma monitor in the cocktail lounge – as cool tunes were provided by the self playing piano. When the guests transitioned to the reception, and ventured up the beautiful staircase to the grand ballroom, they were greeted by an upbeat mix of 80′s classic tracks, Sound Connection’s Intelligent Lightscaping (accenting the ceilings and venue elements) and a pair of plasma monitors that we set up beyond the bride and grooms head table.
The bridal party set the tone for the evening with their entrance using Sound Connection Entertainments custom remix of Michael Franti’s “Say Hey”. Steven and Grace then entered the celebration using SCE’s custom edit of Kelly Rowland’s “Love Takes Over”. After the high energy bridal grand entrance, the newlyweds captured all of the guests attention with their choreographed first dance that was also displayed on our plasma monitors using our live dance floor simulcasting. The parent dances also utilized the Sound Connection Entertainment multi-media fusion with the displaying of photographs of the bride and groom and their parents during the parent dance segment of the celebration.
Style. Elegance. Fun. – would be the three word summary on how we describe the remainder of the wedding celebration.

It was such a pleasure to be there for Steven and Grace and we are thankful they selected SCE to host their once in a lifetime celebration. We would also like to take a minute to acknowledge the wonderful job done by Nicole and Don from Clarks Landing, Jason and the entire crew from Portraits by the Bay and Dave and Jeff from SCE for assisting me with the entertainment production on Valentines Day.
