SCE – Dexter Feliciano Biography and Spotlight

Dexter is the newest member of the Sound Connection Entertainment team.  His energy is contagious and his passion is overwhelming.  As a DJ in college at Rutgers University,  Dexter earned his nick-name “Funkmaster Dex”, and built a reputation around the Rutgers campus for his ability to keep the party crowd dancing all night long.  He gained valuable experience as a mobile DJ, providing music and services for many formal events such as wedding receptions, bar/bat mitzvahs, sweet 16’s and graduation parties.  Dexter was also selected by the nationally acclaimed Rutgers University Dance Team to DJ and MC at various events and team appearances in the Northeast.

Dexter’s love for music began at an early age.  He grew up in a household where a diverse mix of music was always an integral part of family time.  Being exposed to Motown, classic rock and everything in between gave him an appreciation for multiple musical genres that contributes to his success today.

As a Jersey shore and Las Vegas nightlife veteran, Dexter is quite familiar with the unique tastes that are common to many young couples today.  His modern approach to music is influenced by house, hip hop, 80’s and top-40, just to name a few of his favorite genres.  Other than music, Dexter brings 10 years of financial services leadership experience to the table.  In May of 2009, he graduated with his Masters of Business Administration (MBA).
