Personalization….. everyone says it… so what does that mean?

Personalization can be defined many different ways.  I found this description by simply googling “Personalization Definition”:

Personalization: Personalization involves using technology to accommodate the differences between individuals. Once confined mainly to the Web, it is increasingly becoming a factor in education, healthcare (i.e. personalized medicine), and both “business to business” and “business to consumer” settings.

In the wedding world, I feel that the term “personalization” is unfortunately used very loosely.  Many people select the word “personalize” as a buzz word to capture attention and to relate service ability to an events uniqueness.
