From time to time we experience wedding clients that take the time to vison & incorporate a unique or fresh idea into their wedding ceremony, or wedding reception.  Erin & Gus Stathokatus did just that on Friday September 18th 2009 @ Lakeside Manor in Hazlet NJ.  Erin & Gus selected the Sound Connection Entertainment team produce their wedding ceremony that was held onsite  in the Lakeside Manor garden area.
Rather then incorporating a traditional candlelighting in the wedding ceremony, Erin & Gus thought outside of the box and incorporated a fresh and personal idea that was very romantic.
The bride and & groom elected to write each other love notes that were held by the maid of honor and best man in a sealed envelope, which were handed to the officiant towards the end of the wedding ceremony. Â Rather then reading love letters at the ceremony, Â they were taken by the officiant and placed with a bottle of vintage wine and sealed in a wooden wine box.

Wooden box that contains love letters for ceremony
The box containing the love letters was sealed at the ceremony, with the love letters unread, so that if the day should ever arise where the relationship hits tough times, Erin & Gus would then open the sealed wine box, drink the bottle of vintage vino together and then each go to separate rooms to read the love letters that were written to each other on their wedding day.  Doing this would allow them to reflect on the relationship and the passion they shared on their wedding day.
What an interesting way to capture the moment and the feelings shared on one of the most special moments in their life as a couple.
If troubled days never arise, the couple is then to open the box, read the letters together and then to drink the vintage wine on their 50th wedding anniversary.
How cool and romantic is that?
On a serious note, it was such a great Idea that I wish my wife and I had the opportunity to incorporate into our wedding ceremony in 2005.
Taking the time to make a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour or even reception unique is what we at Sound Connection Entertainment are all about. Â This was just one cool way this wedding ceremony was alittle different then the average wedding ceremony.
If you are looking for a nice wedding venue in the Hazlet area in NJ, then you should consider the Lakeside Manor. Â Sayed, who is one of the banquet managers, is a friend to DJs at Sound Connection Entertainment, and does a great job pulling together fantastic wedding receptions.
