SCE vLOG – Crystal Point Yacht Club – 08/29/2009

On Saturday 08/29/2009, Jason Jani and the SCE DJ crew had the honor of providing entertainment for Dawn and Rick Hans at the Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant, NJ. (www.TheCrystalPoint.com)

Despite the weather (which was touch and go with rain all day) the newlyweds arrived ready to celebrate their day by Private Yacht, and it was spectacular.

It is very ironic how people cross paths in life. Dawn and Rick dated through high school and college, then went their separate ways only to find each other later in life when the time was right. What I found very ironic is Dawn and Rick used to frequent a nightclub in Seaside each and every Sunday, where I used to play for years. I didnt know them at the time, but I knew some of the members of their bridal party. This of course all came out at the final event review appointment when we discuss the granular details regarding the music.  Very cool, and ironic to say the least…

Dawn, a special event coordinator for Stockton State College and knew exactly what she was looking for with regards to her DJ Entertainment and wedding celebration.  They reserved with us following the Bliss Bridal expo hosted in Atlantic City last year. 

In addition to a fantastic wedding, we had the pleasure of working with our friends Mike Berry from Berry Photographics (www.BerryPhotographics.net), Therese Farrow from Therese Farrow Films in Ventnor City (www.TFarrowFilms.com), and one of our DJ friends was in the next room, Paul Anthony from Paul Anthony Entertainment (www.PualAnthonyEvents.com).
