Wedding Reception Feature – DJ Jeffrey Balkin @ the Eagle Ridge Golf Club

On Friday May 1st, Jeffrey Balkin, Gregg Arce, Rich & Dave had the pleasure of providing a complete entertainment experience for newlyweds Ray & Raeann at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood NJ.

      

It started with a day that called for poor weather all day, but to the excitement of the bride-to-be, the weather turned around.  It seemed as if the sun came out just for her outdoor ceremony at the Eagle Ridge Golf Club, (www.EagleRidgeGolfClub.com)  and the sight was amazing with the backdrop of the ceremony overlooking the well manicured golf course and ERGC grounds.  

    

After the ceremony, the guests were greeted inside for cocktail hour.   The Sound Connection Entertainment team had Dave playing piano to set the mood as Ray & Raeann mingled with their guests and everyone enjoyed the cocktail hour offerings.

     

As the guests moved into the reception space, they noticed the suite of services selected by the bride and groom. The Sound Connection Entertainment team provided music services, intelligent lighting, 2 plasma TV displays, LED uplights around the room accenting it in pink and tying the colors of Raeann’s centerpieces into the rest of the room, “Ray & Raeann” monogrammed in a heart and projected on the center of the dancefloor, a live percusionist to play along side us during the reception, and our “Dancing under the stars” lighting that would enhance the decor and overall event to become simply breathtaking.

      

As the Reception started, the introductions went off without a hitch with the parents and bridal party coming into “Spiller – Groovejet” and the Bride & Groom coming in to “Sexyback.”.  It seemed as if the bride and groom were in awe over the decor and room lighting features from the time they came in up until the last song was played. 

     

1. First Dance – Dont Wanna Miss a Thing – Aerosmith

2. Father/Daughter Dance – Embrace of the father of the bride

3. Mother Son Dance – A Song for my Son, Mikki Varrick

     

From a music perspective, we played everything from disco and motown to oldies, 80s, 90s, a few sing-a-long tracks, and some current TOp 40.   The dancefloor was packed up until the very last song, and Ray & Raeanne gave us a candid video testimonial (that can be seen in the video log below).

    

In summary, it was a great event, the bride, groom, and their parents were all blown away with the decor and entertainment. It was another successful event at one of our favorite venues, the Eagle Ridge Golf Club, who recommend Sound Connection Entertainment services to their wedding clients since 2008.

    

Congratulations to the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Ray MacVicker!!! Have a great time in Hawaii!!!
