So this past weekend I had the pleasure to work the Moss family on the celebration of their daughter Morgan’s communnion at the Riverview Pavillion in Belmar.
What a fun filled day we had planned for them with lots of interactive games for the kids and music. We played games such as musical chairs, 21, mummy wrap, scavenger hunt and a dance off American Idol style.  The highlight of the afternoon was the dance off.  The kids requested a dance contest between each other and 4 of the children decided they wanted to be the 4 judges from American Idol. We had 3 teams of 2 kids and after their performance the judges were passing there thoughts on them!  Scavenger hunt is always a favorite where you send kids into the audience to retrieve such items as a wallet or a shoelace and they have to get  back in time to grab a seat before it’s taken away. The ever popular mummy wrap where you have groups of 3 or 4 and they take one person to be wrapped up like a mummy. Our most competive game was 21 where kids are building pyramids out of 21 paper cups, it’s a race so the kids took this game very seriously.
When I asked Mr Moss when the party was over if the kids had a good time, he simply said, “I didn’t see them for 4 hours” ! Â Overall, the communnion was a big success and it was surely a pleasure to enertain for the Moss family and there guests as they were such a wonderful family.
